The brainchild of co-founders Werner and Lionel,
About Werner
Werner has been developing various custom solutions for Industrial Revolution customers for over 25 years. With the can-do attitude and learning new programming languages and skills as and when the solution required it, Werner has been able to apply his knowledge to create and support various systems running on multiple operating systems. His skills are not limited to only online systems, but also include developing software that runs in the real world (IOT) interacting with external hardware, which is where Foottraffic was born.
Werners Vission
Werner prefers the hands on approach of sitting with customers to understand their requirements and then building a custom solution which suits those needs first time around. With the solutions being custom built, he is able to provide a solution where the software works according to the clients needs, and not the other way around where an 'off the self’ solution means the client needs to change the way their business works and their processes in order to work according to the ‘off the shelf’ solution. The client ends up witting with the developer that does the actual development.
Werners Technology
Projects Werner has provided solutions for include those for larger enterprises, such as MTN, SABC, SAB, Hot 91.9, Studio 88 (among many others)…. but at the same time being able to develop a simple solution for counting cars, or being able to remotely manage video content on retail displays.
About Lionel
Lionel started his career as an apprentice electronic mechanician 41 years ago. Training at South Africa’s only military aircraft manufacturer gave him a solid grounding into manufacturing policies and procedures and an understanding of the importance of quality control.
Once qualified, Lionel branched out into power electronics and after training in the USA became the Southern Africa service manager for Inductotherm USA.
Lionels Vission
Working in industry he gained valuble exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes from foundries melting metal and car manufacturing plants through to jewlery and precious metal products.
In 2000 he joined forces with Werner Fettke and started an IT company. This company has gone through various iterations, but still stands today proudly serving many clients from small start ups to multi national corporations.
Lionels Experience
Over the years Lionel has attended numerous courses in both the technical aspects of his chosen career, as well as other facets of it such as customer service.
With over 4 decades of experience, Lionel has a passion for all things technical and thrives on solving problems for clients.
